We’re excited to announce version 0.18, packed with new ways to see and work with your show data.

Annotations – Notes can now carry annotation drawings, visible in both review and notepad. Sketch directly on the frame to point out exactly what you mean.

Waterfall timecode display – A new display mode shows upcoming timecode cues as a waterfall, so everyone on stage and in the booth can see what’s coming next at a glance.

Recording overlay improvements – The recording overlay has been redesigned and now includes a theater numberline and the timecode cue waterfall. The info panel can be positioned at the top or bottom, and text overflow is handled gracefully.

Notepad search, filter and sort – Find notes faster with new search, filter and sort options. Timecodes can now be shown relative to the range start, and scene information can always be displayed in the list.

Showfile handling – Save before loading a new showfile, optionally carry over settings like tags and lists to a new showfile, and load or save showfiles via OSC – including scheduled loads.

On top of that, all dialogs got a layout refresh, the CueCollab icon now hides on displays when idle, a number of callsheet, recording and remote fixes round out the release – and in review, notes now advance along with playback.

We’re excited to announce version 0.17, bringing voice input, secure connections and a faster client.

Audio notes – Record notes by voice directly from quick entry in the notepad. Audio notes are transcribed automatically using a local LLM, so nothing leaves your machine.

HTTPS support – CueCollab can now be served via HTTPS, including built-in certificate management. Remote links and QR codes automatically use HTTPS when it’s enabled.

Performance improvements – Client-side data storage has been reworked for faster loading and smoother operation, especially with large showfiles.

Recording management – Recording errors now show a timestamp, and the storage path can be changed for all recordings at once.

On top of that, the app server window got a button to open the showfile folder, server startup on Windows and license handling after OS updates are more reliable, and the PWA icon now works behind proxies and SSL without external dependencies.

LTC timecode input – CueCollab now supports LTC audio timecode as an input source, alongside clock skew detection to keep your timecode stable and trustworthy.

Global announcements – Send announcements to all connected clients at once – from the administration or via OSC.

Scheduled recording and showfile changes – Recordings can be started and stopped on a schedule, the auto-start feature is now called autopilot, and showfile loads or changes can be announced and scheduled in advance.

Table views: filter, search and bulk editing – Filter and search any table, select multiple items and edit them in one go. Tags can now be assigned colors and are shown in cue and recording lists.

Recording review module – A dedicated module for reviewing recordings alongside your notes, with a range selector, search-as-you-type recording selection and an adjustable, hideable sidebar.

New video player – The video player has been replaced for better playback, clearer error display, a 5s seek button and the option to retry if loading fails.

Recording metadata – Recordings can now carry a flag, title and remarks. If a range has a title, it’s used as the recording title automatically.

Notepad improvements – A compact note view on bigger screens, a refreshed mobile layout, the option to hide older items, a range detail view showing recordings, and quick assignment of a note list using >list or @list.

Callsheet improvements – Cues with the same timecode are shown as a group, and cues can be skipped based on tags – with an option to hide skipped or disabled cues.
