MSC Remote Control
CueCollab provides scene name (active cue) detection via MSC (MIDI Show Control) messages.
Quick Reference
Section titled “Quick Reference”CueCollab can update the current scene name based on the incoming MSC Go command’s cue list, and cue.
Various filter options are available to control which cues are accepted, such as MSC Device/Group ID, MSC Command Format, and cue list filtering.
Allowed Command Format values: Lighting General (0x01), Sound General (0x10), Machinery General (0x20), Video General (0x30), Projection General (0x40), Process Control General (0x50), Pyro General (0x60) and All (0x7F).
GrandMA2 MSC Setup
Section titled “GrandMA2 MSC Setup”CueCollab must be connected to the same network as the grandMA2 console.
In grandMA2, configure an MSC output via Setup > Console > MIDI Show Control.
- Send to: match the Device/Group values set in CueCollab
- MSC Out Device/Group: match the Device/Group values set in CueCollab
- MSC Out Port: match the MSC Port value set in CueCollab, default: 6004
- MSC Out Mode: Ethernet
- MSC Out Exec: Exec.Page
- MSC Out Command: match the value set in CueCollab, default: General Light
