Announcement
Send a message to all connected clients instantly. The currently active announcement is shown at the top with its message, type, scope, send time, and expiry. Click Clear to remove it from all displays immediately.
Sending an Announcement

Section titled “Message”The text to display. Multi-line is supported.
The visual style of the announcement:
- Blue — informational, neutral
- Green — positive, success, all-clear
- Yellow — caution, heads up, non-urgent
- Red — alert, urgent, requires immediate attention
Which pages receive the announcement:
- Users — all regular user pages (Notepad, Callsheet, Review, etc.). Shown as a popup notification.
- Admin — the admin section only. Shown as a popup notification.
- Displays — the fullscreen display pages (Timecode Display, Environment Display, etc.). Shown as a full-screen overlay covering the display completely.
- Recording — the Recording Overlay page only. Shown as a full-screen overlay.
For example: send a notification about a showfile change to Users only without interrupting the display screens, or send a schedule change or interruption to Displays only without disturbing operators on their devices.
Duration
Section titled “Duration”How long the announcement remains active. After this time it is automatically cleared from all clients, even if not manually dismissed.
Auto-close
Section titled “Auto-close”If enabled, the popup on client pages auto-dismisses after a configurable timeout (independent of the duration). The announcement stays technically active until the duration expires — meaning it will be shown again to any client that reconnects during that window — but the popup closes on its own for clients that are already connected.
